The Precision Time Protocol, as defined in the IEEE-1588 standard, provides a method to precisely synchronize computers over a Local Area Network (LAN). PTP can be easily configured to operate as a PTP/IEEE-1588 Grandmaster Clock. With high-capacity packet processing, the Grandmaster Clocks deliver the performance and accuracy that is required in high-speed, low-latency applications.

PTP is capable of synchronizing multiple clocks to better than 100 nanoseconds on a network specifically designed for IEEE-1588.

A Network Time Server with PTP is typically referred to as an “IEEE-1588 Grandmaster” or “PTP Grandmaster”.

In GPS applications, temporary signal loss could be caused by sub-optimal GPS antenna installations in windows, or on rooftops in urban canyons. Antenna damage from vandalism or lightning could interrupt GPS reception. Damaged antenna cabling can also lead to the loss of the GPS reference signal.

Even if the Time server can’t receive radio signals from GPS satellites and can’t synchronize with GPS time source the time accuracy can be maintained for a given period using the built-in oscillator and precise atomic clock(rubidium and cesium).

Holdover function by either CSAC (Cesium), Rubidium and OCXO for stable time delivery at all times.

This product is a precision high-gain, anti-jam GNSS antenna providing single-band GPS-L1 and Galileo-E1 coverage. It modifies the radiation pattern such that it is "deaf" to signals arriving from 10 degrees below and 15 degrees above the horizon. Since jamming signals typically originate at low elevations this strategy mitigates signals below 15 degrees. The antenna also has a strong pre-filter to mitigate inter-modulated signal interference from LTE and other cellular bands.

The Wall Clock uses the Network Time Protocol (NTP) to keep perfect time and the address will be automatically set by DHCP.

It uses Telnet to set up the address of your NTP server.
